Privacy Policy

Last updated 23 June 2026

This policy explains what Starga collects, why, and what you can do about it. Starga turns a long video into short clips narrated in your own cloned voice. Plain language, no surprises.

What we collect

How we use it

We use your data to run the service: to process your footage into clips, to clone and use your voice on your own videos, to show your history, to apply your plan, and to bill you if you subscribe. We do not sell your data. We do not use your footage or voice to train models for anyone else.

Your voice and footage

Your voice clone is private to your account and used only to narrate your own videos. You can delete your voice clone at any time in Settings. You can delete individual clips, and you can delete your account and all of its data from the Danger Zone in Settings.

Who we share with

We share data only with the providers needed to run the service: Stripe for payments, and, if you enable them, a text-to-speech provider for your voice and a vision or language provider for the narration. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account we remove your footage, clips, voice clone, and account data. Backups roll off within thirty days.

Your rights

You can access, export, or delete your data from Settings, or by contacting us. If you are in the UK or EU, you have rights under the GDPR including access, correction, deletion, and portability.
